W.E.L.C.A.

W.E.L.C.A. is the organization of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Mt. Zion is a member of the St. Croix Valley Conference, which is part of the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin. All women members of ELCA are also members of WELCA. Mt Zion currently has 5 active circles. Feel free to contact a circle’s leader through the church office for more information.

We all have a great time at our ALL CHURCH White Elephant Christmas Party! Thank you to Chris & Kristen Johnson of Bayport BBQ for hosting the event the past 3 years!! We are all looking forward to 2017’s Christmas party and hope to see you there!

There are also several conferences around northwest Wisconsin throughout the year in which circles are involved. Circles also assist with serving luncheons at funerals held at Mt. Zion.
